Digitec Expo is the largest annual technology event in the region, which took place from March 10-12, 2023 at Karen Demirchyan Complex. With over 120 participating companies and more than 30 speakers from 9 different countries, the event served as a hub for ambitious technological advancements. The conference featured vital panel discussions and speeches about the IT sector’s progress, faced problems and challenges, and proposed solutions. During the three-day event, many startups had the opportunity to introduce themselves, and well-known companies showcased their latest projects. The expo catered to attendees of all ages, and even children found engaging activities.
Our lab participated in the expo for the first time, where we presented a few typical experiments showcasing light focusing through scattering materials and light-matter interactions in liquid crystals. Additionally, we aimed to share our love of science with exhibition visitors and foster an interest in science among children.
