SCHOOL ON EXPERIMENTAL OPTICS
October 17 – December 21, 2023
Yerevan, Armenia
Welcome to our lab’s school on experimental optics! This three-month course, running from October 17th to December 21th, is designed for at least 3rd-year bachelor students who want to gain knowledge in the field of experimental optics. Participants will learn about the common optical elements used in most optics laboratories, as well as advanced optical devices such as spatial light modulators, cameras, spectrometers, and microscopes. Participants will also have the opportunity to learn how to automate these devices using computer interfaces in Python and work on experimental projects related to optics and programming in the fields of optical computing, optical imaging, and beam shaping. Our experienced researchers will lead the program, providing a cohesive and consistent learning experience for all participants. To ensure a high-quality teaching experience, we are limiting the number of participants to 6. Join us for a valuable learning experience and gain knowledge and skills in experimental optics and programming!
